Kristen received two awards

Kristen got a letter last week, stating that she was getting an award. So we were invited to an awards presentation. Kristen was unsure what the award was for. She received to certificates for being the best in her class for Visual Communications I, and for Java Applications. Two different teachers nominated her for being the top student in their class. We are so proud of her. In her visual communications class her artwork was chosen by the teacher and the principal to be used on the cover of the 2008-2009 Assignment notebook, she also won a $50 Barnes and Nobles gift Cert. because her artwork was chosen. At church she also won an art contest for Vocations, her artwork was chosen the best for all high school students and was displayed in the church narthex, she was given a $25 Barnes and Nobles gift cert. for that. She is such a hard worker, and always turns in her best work. By the way she has already spent all her gift cards, she loves to buy books.
