Loving our new home

We love sleeping in our new house. There is still a lot to do and we are still taking trips daily to our old rental house in Westfield. We have to have all of our stuff out by Friday. My mom, Jason, my friend Jeanie, and I, took car loads from Westfield to Lebanon. Some days the weather was awful with high winds and a few days the weather was nice.

Move

We moved all weekend. We had lots of help from family and friends. Thank you, it is very appreciated. We couldn't have done this without everyone's support. I will post pictures later, we do not have internet right now at home, so it is difficult to update the blog and add pictures

Kristen's room had a back door, we closed it up, and gave her some bookshelves, and drawers and extended her closet by 18 inches.

We are 90% done painting and we have the carpet in. We are trying to get moved this weekend and spend the night in our new house by the Sunday Feb 24th!! Thanks to all the people that have come to help us, we couldn't have done it without you!!

Our sunsets are great, I can't wait to relax once we have moved all of our stuff!

I will try to get updated pictures of the inside soon, we have been painting, cleaning, and doing the finishing touches, to get ready for the carpet to be installed.

More of the finished dry wall

This a picture of the dining room wall going into the kitchen. We are going to re-do the kitchen in 1-2 years, so we did not re-do 1/2 of this wall. The kitchen is still 1/2 beat board, with the top half plaster. I am debating on how to transition this wall. I am going to the store this week for the paint.

Girls painting party

Anyone that reads this, I am having a painting party on Sat Feb 9th 9a-5p and Sunday Feb 10th 10:30a-3p. Come and hang out, and come and paint. You can come for one hour or stay the whole day. Contact me for directions if you would like to come and help.
