Pictures

I am at the library and I figured out how to upload my pictures to the blog, YEAH.
The first picture is Will with his long time friends Evan, Katie and Emily.
The next picture are our cats outside our den window, the left one was named Memphis, his new nickname is Stalker because he meows so much to come inside and he peeks thru the windows begging to come in, the one on the right was named Talle, and is nicknamed Killer, due to her catching small animals outside.

Sorry it has been so long

Well it has been a while since I have posted anything. We do not have internet right now, and I have several pictures I would like to post, but cannot. I ordered DSL, it should be running by Monday March 31st, or I might go to the library this week and get them up sooner. Hope everyone had a great easter, we did. Take Care, Lynn

Our Barn Cats

Since you have already met our pet bat, I wanted you to meet our barn cats. One cat was given to us from the Haskels. The Haskel family has been so wonderful, they have let our 3 horses stay in their barn and on their property for the past year. They found a stray and named her Nibbles, she is the tortoise colored cat and is about 8 months old. Jason, Kristen and Will re-named her Talle, short for Tallahassee (they are naming the cats after cities). The black cat we picked up from the Clinton County Humane Society, his name is Memphis and he is about 1 year old.

Pet in our house

We have a pet bat. Last night I worked, my mother heard a noise at 1:30am, she saw a bat flying around in Will's bedroom. Will and Jason were asleep and never heard anything. The bat then flew into the hall, and within a 1/2 hour was quiet. I can't believe it but then my mother was able to fall back asleep. She didn't yell for Jason, because she was worried it would wake Will up and scare him. Jason told me the story when I woke up, and I was upstairs and thought I saw something fuzzy up in the ceiling by the attic entrance. It was a bat. Jason tried to scoop it into a bag, it flew, Kristen and Will came to see it, my mother and I left the area. It then went into a box that had Will's toys in it. Jason took the bat in the box to the barn, and now we have a pet bat, named Buddy in out barn. We hope there are no more bats in our attic. The interesting thing about our house was it was completely stripped and no one every noticed any signs of bats. They could see the roof, and put up all new insulation, and boards everywhere.

Done moving

I am so thankful to have all of our stuff out of the Westfield rental house. Now we do not have any time restraints. We can unpack at our leisure. Some boxes were just put in the workshop to sit until I can look thru them (when the weather gets nicer). I also have piles of things to give away at Kristen's band rummage sale this spring and I have a box of items I will be selling. It feels good to get rid of things.
